About Us

For more than 50 years, the Elmhurst Clinic has worked to provide more than just good medical care. We have established ourselves in DuPage and Cook Counties as one of the premier multi-specialty medical groups, providing a range of care for your entire family.

The Clinic’s roots were planted on Aug. 1, 1952, when Dr. Edmund H. Droegemueller, a physician trained at the Mayo Clinic, formed a medical partnership at 105 S. York Road in Elmhurst with five other physicians. Since then, the Clinic has branched out from 30 employees and six providers to 330 employees and more than 80 physicians and nurse practitioners representing 22 specialties.

A significant milestone in the Clinic’s 50+ year history was the 1996 affiliation with Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare. This partnership joined the medical expertise of the Clinic’s physicians with the technology and resources of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare, a community-based healthcare organization with comprehensive services and a long-standing tradition of bringing the latest diagnostic technology and treatments to families in DuPage and Cook Counties.

Today, the Elmhurst Clinic’s philosophy, superior training and excellence in care, thrives at seven convenient locations, including Elmhurst, Lombard, Wood Dale, Addison, Bloomingdale, Oak Park and in south Elmhurst at the Elmhurst Memorial Center for Health.

Our staff and physicians put the patient first as we try to exceed your expectations. We want you to feel that we have your best interests at heart.
