About Us
For more than 50 years, the Elmhurst Clinic has worked to provide more than just good medical care. We have established ourselves in DuPage County as one of the premier multi-specialty medical groups, providing a range of care for your entire family.
The Clinic’s roots were planted on Aug. 1, 1952, when Dr. Edmund H. Droegemueller, a physician trained at the Mayo Clinic, formed a medical partnership at 105 S. York Street in Elmhurst with five other physicians. Since then, the Clinic has branched out from 30 employees and six providers to 275 employees and more than 50 multi-specialty providers.
A significant milestone in the Clinic’s 50-year history was the 1996 affiliation with Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare. This partnership joined the medical expertise of the Clinic’s physicians with the technology and resources of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare, a community-based healthcare organization with comprehensive services and a long-standing tradition of bringing the latest diagnostic technology and treatments to families in DuPage County.
Today, the Elmhurst Clinic’s philosophy, superior training and excellence in care, thrives at eight convenient locations.
Our staff and physicians put the patient first as we try to exceed your expectations. We want you to feel that we have your best interests at heart.
